In 2025–2026, the Centre for Adult Social Care Research (CARE) is proud to be delivering the Annual Workforce Survey for Social Care Wales, in collaboration with Care Forum Wales. This important project will help shape the future of the social care workforce by gathering insights from across the sector.
The survey is co-led by Professor Paul Willis (CARE) and Dr Katy Huxley (SPARK), with support from Dr Richard Gater (CARE). Katy brings specialist expertise in workforce data collection and survey design, while Paul and Richard contribute their knowledge of social care delivery and qualitative research.
Care Forum Wales is playing a key role in promoting the survey to ensure strong engagement across the sector.
